Scientists have made an amazing discovery! They found real teeth growing on the head of a fish called the spotted ratfish. These teeth help males hold onto females during mating, just like holding hands! 🐟 This discovery shows that teeth can grow not just in jaws, like ours, but also in other parts of the body. It’s a bit like how some animals have spikes or other strange features. 🌟

These teeth are called "tenaculum," and scientists realized they form in the same way as teeth in our mouths. This changes what we thought about how teeth appeared in animals with backbones, just like us!

ā“ What other interesting features do you think animals might have?
