Scientists have discovered a fossil of a fly that is 151 million years old! This tiny ancient friend, called Telmatomyia talbragarica, was found in Australia. It shows that some flies that live in freshwater appeared earlier than scientists thought. They were usually believed to be only ocean creatures! This discovery helps us understand how insects evolved on Earth. 🌍✨

Now we know that some flies could be much older than we believed, and this changes our ideas about how different animal species lived on ancient continents! For example, we have more information about what happens with insects and where they live. 🐜
