Scientists found some cool glass pieces in South Australia that were made after an asteroid hit the Earth 11 million years ago! These pieces are called tektites, and they are different from others because they’re made of different materials and found in different places. Even though the spot where the asteroid landed is still missing, this discovery helps us understand how Earth has changed over time. 🌌🌟

Imagine if a giant ball hit the ground and left a mark, but we couldn't find the ball itself. That’s the kind of situation we have here! These discoveries help scientists protect our planet from possible future hits, just like superheroes keeping Earth safe! 🦸‍♂️

❓ What do you think would happen if another asteroid hit Earth?
