Scientists in London wanted to find out: why do some people enjoy running or going to the gym, while others think it’s boring? šŸ¤”

It turns out, it’s all about our personality!

Extroverts — those who love lively companies — are best suited for active sports: for example, workouts with jumping or fast cycling. šŸš“ā€ā™€ļø

But people who often worry or get anxious prefer short exercises — doing a couple of sets and then resting. This also helps them reduce stress. 😌

And there are those who do sports not for fun, but because ā€œit’s the right thing for healthā€ — they’re doing great too, even if it’s not always fun for them.

The scientists’ main discovery is simple: sport will only be truly useful when it brings joy. Find what you enjoy most, and it will be much easier to stay active. šŸ’Ŗ

ā“ What kind of sport would you choose for yourself? Should it be fun and fast, or calm and quiet? āš½ļøšŸš“ā€ā™€ļøšŸ›¼
