Scientists in London wanted to find out: why do some people enjoy running or going to the gym, while others think itās boring? š¤
It turns out, itās all about our personality!
Extroverts ā those who love lively companies ā are best suited for active sports: for example, workouts with jumping or fast cycling. š“āāļø
But people who often worry or get anxious prefer short exercises ā doing a couple of sets and then resting. This also helps them reduce stress. š
And there are those who do sports not for fun, but because āitās the right thing for healthā ā theyāre doing great too, even if itās not always fun for them.
The scientistsā main discovery is simple: sport will only be truly useful when it brings joy. Find what you enjoy most, and it will be much easier to stay active. šŖ
